Week 1 Weigh In...



I lost 2 lbs. This was a slow week for me. I didn't get to exercise but 1 day so far this week. Oh well, I am happy with the loss but hope to really pick up the weight loss next week. Shooting for 3 lbs for next week, yippeee! My goal is to be in the 180's by next week at this time.

This is now my new weight loss blog.

I have now made this my new weight loss blog. I think Miken was the only one I had following me on here anyways, lol. So here is my story. I have always been overweight. I have played sports all of my life but always the "big girl" on the team. I needed some motivation so my work joined a weight loss challenge in January and I lost around 25 lbs. So for this new competition I started in at 195.

My goals:
  • Get down to 175 by the end of the competition.
  • Continue working out 5 + days a week.
  • Eat better (1200-1500) calories a day.
  • Get my family involved.

Update

Well I am down 21 pounds.

I have dropped 2 jean sizes since Jan.

I have 5 classes and I will be graduating, yippee!!!

Progress on New Years Resolutions

Well we are in month 2 of the new year and I think we are doing great with our resolutions.

My Resolutions are:

1. Pay off debts.
2. Stick to my budget
3. Lose 50 lbs.
4. Be a better parent and wife
5. Read the entire Bible this year

So far this year since Jan 1
1. We have paid off 4 creditors.
  • Lowes-40 monthly pymt
  • Providian- 20 monthly pymt
  • Newark Furniture-40 monthly pymt
  • Citizens Bank-150 monthly pymt
So we have paid off $250 worth of monthly payments. We are doing the debt snowball so we are just adding that on to the next credit card. Only have a couple left to go then onto the big things like the cars and house.

2. Stick to the budget. Yes we are!!!

3. Lose 50 lbs, well I am on my way. I am down 17 since Jan 1.

4. Be a better parent and wife. I think I am doing better. I am trying to have much more patience with both my boys.

5. Read the entire Bible. This one I am lacking on. I have really got to find the time to do this more often.

WEIGHT LOSS GOING GREAT!!!

WE STARTED THE SEDALIA FITNESS CHALLENGE BACK ON JAN 1ST. IT OFFICALLY KICKED OFF ON THE 12TH. SINCE THEN I HAVE LOST 11.2 POUNDS. SINCE MY LAST DR APPT 2 MONTHS AGO I AM DOWN 25 POUNDS. I HAVE ABOUT 39 MORE TO GO THIS YEAR. WOOT! BTW I LOVE ZUMBA AND BODY COMBAT!!!

Day 2

I have successfully went 2 days and have not spent a dime that was not budgeted in. :) Yay!

I am also doing pretty well on my diet.
